MUNGIKI MAYHEM GOES ON UNABATED

This is an excerpt from yesterday’s EAStandard front page Comment which was also the Editorial Comment.

Not since the infamous senseless and politically instigated so-called land clashes of 1992 and 1994 has so much fear been generated by so few at the expense of so many…………

……But this simple fact will always hold true: It is the principal objective of the Government to at all times and by all means protect the lives of its citizens and protect their property against grabbers and robbers, vandals and thieves……..

There was also a great quote thrown in there: ‘First they came for the Communists and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestsnt. Then they came for me and by that time, there was no one left to speak for me’ Martin Niemoller – Holocaust Victim

  1. SUPPORTING "Operation Kosovo"

Yes i will continue to support and call for the support of our police officers ,While you cry and whine about dead mungiki criminals let me remind of the innocent people who have been hacked and tortured by this Mungiki hoodlums !grandmothers ,grandfathers women and son have been hacked in the dead of night all through central and Nairobi province all at the behest of mungiki and its political backers .A few days ago we were crying that no action was been taken .

Despite the express warning from the President, mungiki went on to kill two innocent young policemen(RIP) who were working to protect their fellow Kenyans and feed their families .

As is the case in Kenya ,we love to complain and criticize everything from police inaction to police action .It is important to note that not all Mathare was attacked , not every living soul in Mathare beaten by the police .When the police initially moved into the area ,they were taunted and ridiculed by this same women you are claiming are innocent .Mungiki choose to hide behind their lovers thinking that the police would not swing into action .Indeed it is important to note that one of the recovered AK47 rifles was discovered in the bed of one of this so called innocent women. The nature of mungiki and the failure by kosovo residents to out the criminals led to the police action which we must support !You must remember that this area is a mungiki stronghold that was used as a nerve base for criminal activity in Nairobi and parts of central Kenya.

We can not and should not have the slightest mercy for criminal and their supporters who have no mercy for innocent grand mothers and our children .This police action against mungiki was long overdue .A few days ago some in the opposition and indeed the church were calling for the imposition of Marshall law and a state of emergency .Yet when the police swing into an operation lasting a few hours the same people are balling over in crocodile tears over the brutality of our security agencies .Let us not fool ourselves over this issue or act like 'security experts'.The truth of the matter is that our security agencies are being fully deployed to deal with the mungiki issue .The attack on this organization is not confined to police action in kosovo .Various arms of government are working to resolve this issue as well as address other lingering issues concerning mungiki.

Let us stop this complaining and support those who are sworn to protect innocent life .

Let as also think of the families who had their family members hacked and have to burry decapitated bodies .Did mungiki ever uphold human rights or when their families and girlfriends enjoyed the plunder that their partners fleeced from other Kenyans was there justice in that for them .I for one can and have reconciled myself to supporting the police officers and i urge you to do the same

    We support our police officers!

Dedicated to the YOUNG POLICE OFFICERS MURDERED in Kosovo and the Hundreds killed by Mungiki across kenya
