EXPLOSION IN NAIROBI.

As of last night, there was no known reason for the explosion other than the fact that the only man who died at the scene worked nearby. Two Somali men are said to have been the carriers of the explosive. It is being said that they tried to board a JKIA bound bus but they failed after they were turned down because it was full.

For once, Kenyans at the vicinity fled away from the scene after the explosion rather than the usual herd mentality to run to the scene. I think we are learning to keep off from the explosion sites until the air is clear.

33 people have been treated at KNH and some of them have been released.

Whether to take this as a terrorist attempt or a mungiki re-invention is the moot point now.

Lets hope that the police will get to the bottom of this.
